In his Warrior presentation JR challenges stereotypical images of masculinity and calls boys and men to rise up to be the warriors they were born to be.
JR facilitates workshops and raises awareness, educating people on what violence against women looks like and what we all can do to stop it. JR is committed to this cause because it is a personal one. As a young boy he witnessed his mother and sister suffer violence at the hands of men in their lives. JR is an ambassador for BC’s Ending the Violence Association, Be More Than a Bystander campaign.
